The first CSI took place in Penang, Malaysia, in 2018. The 4th CSI in 2024 signifies the ongoing international collaborative effort among affiliated institutions, marking the start of its second cycle. The CSI series demonstrates that the diversity in research, pedagogy, and practice transcends borders and perceptions, uniting different views and practices in a cohesive voice.
